SWIFT Standards

  • Style: Google Swift Style Guide.
  • Tooling: swift-format, SwiftLint, XCTest / Swift Testing.
  • Idioms: Prefer Structs over Classes by default (value semantics). Use protocol-oriented programming.
  • Safety: Use Result<T, E>, throws, and guard let for early exits and error handling.
  • Concurrency: Use async/await and Actors.
  • Data: Use Codable for serialization.
