TS Standards

  • Style: Google TS Style Guide.
  • Tooling: Prettier, typescript-eslint, Vitest/Jest.
  • Config: Strict mode ("strict": true).
  • Typing: Avoid any at all costs; use unknown if necessary. Explicit return types on public functions.
  • Idioms: Use discriminated unions for modeling state. Prefer interface for object shapes, type for unions/primitives.
